Hey ya’ll we hope ya’ll are all well. It has been a  little over three weeks since we returned from a quick trip stateside. Our oldest two are back in the swing of things at school after the CHRISTmas break. While Vilma, Shae, and I have been doing some construction on Campus and cleaning a little.  On January 7th we had a church come by for a lunching and prayer time, after they went evangelizing and giving over 60 food bags to a local community here near campus. It was a blessing having them on site here.

on the 12th we went out with some good pastor friends of ours to a town nearby where we took a bounce house and they gave out some clothes while also feeding the kids lunch. We were able to share the gospel in hopes that GOD is bringing it back to their memory daily and they each have a personal relationship with JESUS.

Then we had a ministry up the 13th-15th for a retreat, Misiones 4×4, as they trained and prepared for what/ where GOD wants them to go/do to share HIS love gospel to those people who live way out in places that may be a little difficult to get too. I was a able to lead their Sunday devotion as it is always a blessing to share the WORD of GOD.  Join me in praying for this ministry that they will go and do exactly the FATHER’s Will how/where/when HE wants and that would know without a doubt HER is in control.

Some friends of ours had donated for a family some items and things for CHRISTmas but due to our living for a trip we weren’t able to get the items to them before left. So were able too do that last week.

Since then we have been working on campus and contacting pastors for outreach in February LORD willing.

Our youngest, Shae, turned 2 on the 21st and that was a blessing celebrating her day arrival. we went to a couple of small farms and saw animals and they got to ride a horse. Then on Sunday night the 22nd of January as I tucked the kids in for bed Asher gave HIS life to JESUS and asked for forgiveness of his sins. Prayed and made it official, I just say there is not much that even compares to leading your on child to the mercy seat of our FATHER and them asking JESUS to forgive them and them giving their life to HIM. Thank yall fro your prayers for our family ;)!!!

Also GOD has opened another form of ministry up for us this year that we have been working on and that is helping youth and children with school supplies and tuition studies.  As Guatemala schools are in session from January to October/November many have already started and some will start soon. Thus we have been able to purchase some supplies for 2 siblings, and then not only buy supplies for another young boy but actually pay for his academic study. His parents came by and got his supplies and the mom told us that they had been praying about sending him to a different school because the government/public school he was going to he wasn’t learning what he needed to for the grade he was in. In tears she began to tell us that it just wasn’t possible financially to send him else where then we came along and offered to help with his studies in a CHRISTian school.  That GOD had heard their prayers and was providing.  They thanked GOD for the blessing and we were able to pray with them. The dad said he was the one excited about school and he wasn’t the one going it is his son that starting school.  When we asked the son how he felt he said a little scared so pray with us that he will be bold in the word of the LORD and glorify GOD in his studies. We hope to be able to help kids with school supplies etc. as the LORD wills it to happen.

All this is possible due to you who help us here in Guatemala, wether it be with outreach donations, campus retreat, construction, family support, or just general fund. We are able to serve GOD in these ways to make HIS nam known. Thus we thank HIM daily for you!!!

If you would like more information on any of the above or other things we do please don’t hesitate to ask. we are blessed to have many of you on this journey with us.

Stay tuned for more to come LORD willing on what GOD is doing here!!!

in the meantime be blessed in CHRIST!!!
