March/ April 2024 update

Hey y’all here we are again in another month of after another month. Wow time is going fast. So here is an update from March and then I will continue with April. As we came out of February and into March we were blessed to visit a new pastor, hermano Julio and his wife Betty, out in an area we had never been too. They are doing an awesome job in that area making disciples and preaching the WORD. Thus we went and visited their church and Vilma and I then went out and delivered a bunk bed to a lady where her little girls were sleeping on a mattress on the floor in a rental house that wasn’t finished but has a roof and walls. I was blessed to preach at a church down the mountain from us where we did a dental clinic in February and the LORD placed on our hearts to return and do food bags and some bunk beds so we returned with a team that came down to serve with us for a week. They also went out and did a service at the new church i mentioned and donated bunk beds and wood burning stoves there as well as a form of sharing the love gospel of CHRIST. The team consisted of mom and dad, son and daughter with their spouses and the grandkids. This family has sponsored some gals from casa aleluya who are grown and have their own families so the team went and helped them do some work on one of their houses as well. It was a blessed time having them here and is super cool watching a family serve the LORD together. Thanks you Murphy family.

They left mid March so it was clean up time and then my parents came a few days later and it was a blessing having them as we were able to spend some good time with them as the last time they came was in July of 2023 and even though we visited them then it wasn’t the same as this time as we had teams then and not this time. So that was a blessing also the kids had some activities in school and then were out for spring break/ Holy Week while my parents were here. Fun times for sure. Before Holy Week we had a church come up and do a service on campus with their leadership team. GOD moved on their day visit here and the prescence of the LORD rained down on them it was a special time.

With my folks leaving right before Easter we jumped out of March and into April without even really knowing the month had changed nearly as it was time to work on some other things on campus as we built a retaining wall on our bottom property to help not wash this rainy season. A neighbor of ours has been helping with various jobs on campus which has helped us advance a lot especially since I sprained my wrist pretty bad in February and so by having him here helping I’ve been able to not strain them more and let them heal some. Made a gravel path in the upper garden, trimmed some trees and fot ready for the IBAC pastors seminar that we weren’t able to do in October of 2023 due to road blocks. It was a blessed time as always and this time we had 44 people staying on campus apart from our family and then about 24 more travel up for training each day so over 70 people on campus for three days that week it was an awesome time as a church from summit crossing in Madison alabama sponsors that and we were able to not only feed them spiritually but also physically three meals and breaks as well. Awesome time and we thank the LORD for IBAC, Josh McNeil and crew, Antonio Chic (Totonicipan), and Jorge Cerritos (villa Nuevo) for all helping us coordinate getting the pastors and leaders here for the training.

We then stared picking up on some more campus work after they all left. Then some friends who help us from time to time went with us to visit three different pastors on a Sunday on the coast and that was truly a blessing as we were blessed to take them some food bags and gift baskets. Visiting with them, praying for them and just hearing their needs and what GOD is doing through them was humbling. As it had been awhile seeing them as one coupe has just moved to the coast this year as they were close to us on an mountain about 20 minutes from us before. We came back and then had pastor Elmer and his wife bring up there ladies ministry for a day on Tuesday. They ate played some games and seemed to have a good time. They will bringibgbthere youth up for a camp/retreat this weekend. As this past week and this week we have been doing roof repairs and getting ready for the rainy season. Also for those of you who have been to our campus you know of our bottom property and how it has been grown up and pretty much just holds our septic tanks and runoff well. All that to say our goal has been to make that a quite time/hangout with JESUS, garden and so after buksingbyen walk we decided to clean it up and so we have started that by hiring a guy to come and get that started. It’s looking nice. Hope to fill it with fruit trees and nice flowers etc. So stay tuned for those details. I’ve gotten to go to the kids school and substitute these past few days for a couple hours while we begin to get things ready for the youth camp this weekend.

I deeply apologize for not updating sooner I just get carried away with life and ministry. Please know we pray for y’all daily, thanking the LORD for you.

Some prayer request are for us to do GOD’s will in all we do.

⁃ That we would be a light for many especially the community here where we live.

⁃ For our kids school

⁃ The pastors we visit and have visited

⁃ The people that come to our campus for a retreat.

⁃ The property purchase as an offer has been made but no reply yet.

⁃ Housing for our family.

⁃ Katie our secretary as she juggles a full time job while helping with the ministry as well and some banking challenges with our ministry bank stateside.

Feel free to send us your prayer request as well we would love to carry your burdens with you and fulfill the law of CHRIST as the WORD says in Galatians 6:2.

In the meantime stay tuned, be blessed and live GOD loud!!!

Blessings in CHRIST,

The Clemmons Family
