Hey y’all I am writing this here again as I hit the wrong button yesterday and lost it. Here is an update on our new little addition. Yesterday (Thursday) we celebrated her 1 week since being born.  It has been a wild week but a blessed one at the sane time as we are still in the hospital due to her just needing to catch up with all her vitals. At one week she caught back up to her birth weight and is on the climb so we pray that will continue to increase. She is very active in her movements and has been since she was born. During her first week she has been placed under the black light to get her bilirubin levels balanced out, she also has been monitored to make sure her lungs are pumping air properly without stopping. So all that is a blessing. Momma Vilma is doing well considering, as she is ready to leave the hospital and have our family all together again as she has been in the hospital since the 19th.  Yet she and I know that its in GOD’s hands and we will leave when HE wants us too, because it’s then we will know Baby Shae will be ready to go.

Psalm 121:1-3

“I will lift up my eyes to the hills—

From whence comes my help?

My help comes from the Lord,

Who made heaven and earth.

He will not allow your foot to [a]be moved;

He who keeps you will not slumber.”

We have met many nurses here at the hospital that have played a crucial role in the care of our baby girl. They truly are a blessing, giving so much sacrifice during this pandemic for the well being of not only our baby but many babies and families.

There was one night where the nursery here was rolling and babies were being born very often, some nurses I believe had to be called to work as it got that crazy.

So we thank our GOD for them and the doctors in general. We also thank all of you who have been praying for us. It’s a different season than we are a custom too but are excited as we pass through by being bale to check out the hospital soon, LORD willing.   We also thank our supporters who have been faithful with us on this journey and this extended season of blessing and waiting the LORD has us in. Once we get out watch for more post as we begin to prepare and head back to Guatemala.

A huge shout out to my parents for helping us with Lanisha and Asher while Vilma and baby are in the hospital and I travel back and forth. Not only have they been taking care off the kids but my dad had an incident with his horse the other day and may have broke a rib. Which then found out by doctor visit his lungs haven’t completely healed from Covid 19 that he had 4 months ago. Nonetheless we thank GOD he is doing well.

Specifics for prayer:

  1. Salvation of our children 😉
  2. Baby Shae would get stable on all vitals and continue to grow so we can leave the hospital.
  3. Momma Vilma would continue to increase post pardom good health.
  4. For all the nurses and doctors in this facility to know JESUS as LORD before it’s too late and for their overall health.
  5. For rest and energy for my parents and dad’s healing.
  6. Sandra and Misael (ministry keepers while we are away)
  7. Our friends the Hunt Family as they transition into Guatemala and help hold down the ministry there with Misael and Sandra. ( more on that in the future)

We can’t thank you enough for your love, prayers, and support. Making mention of you often in our prayers.

Blessings in CHRIST,

The Clemmons Family
