Since we are getting closer & happy to be going back to Guatemala, we have been thinking of how blessed and thankful we have been here… it reminds us of some of the rough life styles that some people have to live in. Some because they don’t want to have better and others because they don’t have other options/choices, they try hard just to make it day by day…
It is easy to complain, we understand, we have been there, but have you truly thought about how blessed you are???
GOD’s WORD says :
“Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.”
Philippians 2:14-16 NKJV

How many of you have had to go get wood for your wife to cook in an open 🔥?
Do your kids have to walk bare foot 🦶 all the time?
How do you put your babies to sleep? In a crib?
Did some of y’all have to walk to church every Sunday?
Is the floor in your house dirt and the walls metal or made of corn stalk?
When you live outside of the city, do you save water in jugs?
Do all of you sleep in the same bed or you just put wood together and pile clothes on top of the boards for something soft for the kids to sleep on?
ARE Y’ALL HAPPY WHERE YOU ARE NOW??
ARE YOU THANKFUL WERE THE LORD HAS PUT YOU AND WHAT HE HAS GIVEN YOU??

GUATEMALA is a beautiful third world country with wonderful weather, beautiful people that are happy (most of them) like any other country. There are rich people and poor people. It would help if the government tried to help in some way instead of being corrupt, but the most important is to pray for their salvation…
So as we leave the USA make sure you are doing your part for the KINGDOM of GOD, be a missionary in your town and your state, always sharing His Love and His mercy, standing up for what HE says is right.
