John 11:6 So, when He heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where He was

Hey y’all here we are at the end of yet another month, Time is still going faster than I can grasp it and it seems as though days turn into weeks where the weeks then turn into months. Things have been going here on and off campus, with ministry and family. maybe not at the pace we would like for it to0 but nonetheless with all confidence at GOD’s pace.

In serving the LORD daily and taking up our cross to follow HIM I am reminded often of the above passage when plans and schedules get changed.  JESUS had the opportunity to go and heal Lazarus before HE died to the point Mary and Martha (Lazarus’s sisters) when HE did finally arrive said “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”  knowing what was going to happen he allowed to be delayed so what HE said in verse 4 would be revealed,When Jesus heard that, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”  so when things change in a moment and you can’t understand just trust that GOD is working out for HIS glory and stand on HIS Word. That is if you remember to take up your cross daily to follow HIM.                 Proverbs 3;5,6

Now to what haz been going in here…

We have been blessed to have a couple pastors visit us in early April for some fellowship and rest.

As the LORD’s timing is perfect. We had an awesome pastors seminar in April where we had about 19 pastors come from about 4 hours away (at least that is where they met to come here) some traveled an hour or two to get to the bus. Five trainers came (3 from the US and 2 from Costa Rica), apart from the cooks that came as well.  It was a blessed time as we met so many new pastors at this one and we were reunited with other familiar faces. After 4 years of having to postpone it was great to start it back up again.

A pastor friend had called us awhile back about visiting a family they knew and so we visited them with a food bag and some encouragement and hope to be putting in a wood burning stove here soon for them. Juventud para CRISTO (youth for CHRIST) came and did a three day retreat early in May which was a true blessing as well. They hiked the hill beside campus and had worship with devotion in which I got to share GOD’s WORD. It is always a treat to talk about the LORD and enlighten people to remember HIS promises and stand on those promises because “HE who has promised is faithful.” (Hebrews 10:23).

we did a little construction on site as trying to get block layers to come and work has been a little difficult. were able to get some for a short time but Adam Lindsay and I had to finish up by taking the boards and stuff down as they didn’t show up the next day. Pray we can find  a good, trustworthy, hard working block layer to do what the last guys didn’t show up to do.

Vilma and the kids are doing great just trying to hang on in this ride of life we are in. Vilma has been trying to maintain the gardens and now the rains have come so its all looking pretty and really growing especially the grass. That in itself is a time consuming job. The kids are out of school so they have been playing hard this first few days as we get ready to jump into June.

Adam Lindsay and I went and visited a brother Pastor who has been a huge blessing in helping us reach the lost way out in Totonicapan. We visited some families and prayed for folks it was humbling and we pray GOD continues to live mightily in that area.

So the past couple of months have been just that mainly about maintaining the property while having people on campus and also doing a little ministry off campus while the kids finished there school year.

we as always thank our LORD JESUS for you remembering you in our prayers, we are blessed to have you ion tis journey with us. I know we do not say it enough nor do we update often but we are forever grateful for your love and support. Please feel free to contact us anytime as we would love to here from you. in the meantime stay blessed and live CHRIST loud!!!

blessings in CHRIST,
