How beautiful upon the mountains

Are the feet of him who brings good news,

Who proclaims peace,

Who brings glad tidings of good things,

Who proclaims salvation,

Who says to Zion,

“Your God reigns!”

Isaiah 52:7

A little update here from the past couple days. We went out by the lake but not where the watermelons grow, at least I didn’t see any watermelons… We were blessed to be able to go and visit a fellow sister in CHRIST and the ministry GOD has placed her in to raise up a church in places where it was forbidden to even preach and speak of the gospel of CHRIST.  Yet GOD has her starting programs with children in hope of the parents soon to come. It was incredible seeing and hearing her testimony of how GOD is using her. It is simply amazing to know that even here in Guatemala towns of people are still have such hard hearts that they want nothing of the gospel to the point a Q5000 fine was placed on anyone that would try to even preach about the love of JESUS. Due to the faithfulness of a sister in CHRIST she can now go into that town and love like JESUS, as she had entered this particular place 8 years ago and was rejected then went back two years ago and was threatened with a fine, so she went and gathered the Q5000 took it to the leaders and said here is the fine I am going to preach the gospel. They didn’t take her money nor did they reject her yet instead saw her willingness to share the love of JESUS and they now have let her start a church in the town.

For sure is something to reflect on and ask ourselves are we willing to put our lives on the line to tell people about JESUS and go wherever HE leads to make that happen?  To tell people that there is hope of better because we have a FATHER who loves us and paid it all so that we can spend FoReVeR with HIM. Otherwise people are going to spend eternity separated from HIM.  Just a thought. Lets stand on HIS promises (bible) and walk in HIS love, so HE may work in us, to work through us,  for the Harvest that HE has placed for us!!!

Nonetheless the LORD is doing a mighty work in those areas now and will continue.  So pray that the love Gospel of CHRIST would continue to spread wildly in those areas.  For endurance for sister Macaela as she teaches and works in those areas. Big shout out to brother Gerson and his wife sister Heidy for guiding us into that area to love on their people .

Lastly we visited Gerson’s sister who is just struggling in many ways so please pray for her as well.

Things are moving along here on campus and we are excited for what the LORD is doing. Still a lot of work to do so pray Vilma and I can stay sane and endure as we try little by little to move forward in this portion of ministry as well.

We thank you all for being a part of what GOD is doing here in Guatemala through us. We are blessed to have you in this journey.

Blessings in CHRIST,
